Why Do I Care About You Being a Good Parent?

My Friend Died At a Young Age

A few years ago, I attended the funeral of one of my childhood friends: I will change his name to Rob on this website out of respect for his friends and family. Burying my friend really changed my life. It made me realize that life is really more important then ever before. I realized that life could be taken away, even from someone so young, at anytime and that life needs to be enjoyed, second by precious second

How Did Rob Die?

Rob died due to an overdose of Oxycotin, also known as Oxy's. Oxy's are a time released pain killer drug that some people describe as a legal version of heroin. Rob was given Oxy's by a friend of his at a party in my hometown, as his friend thought they would help him forget about recent relationship troubles he was having with his girlfriend. His friend surely assumed that Rob would not die from these 2 or 3 pills that he was given...

Rob Could Still Be Alive Today If...

Rob would be alive today if only he and his friends knew about the consequences of Oxy's. So many young people die each year from Oxy's because teens tend to think they're invincible. If someone had just taken the time to tell Rob about the horrors of Oxy, then I might still be able to surf with Rob, I might still be able to laugh with Rob, and I would not have had to go through the gut wrenching experience of burying my friend!

I Want To Make Sure Your Teen Lives a Full and Happy Life

<

Through this website and the various publications that I've put together, I want to help parents to be better parents. Your teens are living in a world that is really not the same as when you were a teen.

  • Easy Access to New and Dangerous Drugs
  • Money to Spend on Many Drugs
  • Invincible Feelings Are Stronger Then Ever!

If you can just relate to your teen then you will be able to save them. It's important that your teen feel like they're able to talk to you about anything in their lives. More importantly, your teen needs to be able to listen and relate to you when you talk to them about the realities of the world.

  • Talk to your teen about drugs and the horrors it can cause.
  • Talk to your teen about their friends. Make sure they're surrounded by good people.
  • Ensure your teen doesn't have to bury their friend
